College campuses are often idyllic environments, relaxing escapes from the urban chaos that surround them; free of cars, and with more foliage than most parts of China's vast concrete metropolises. Of course, some university campuses are nicer than others, and the ten campuses listed below are considered China's most beautiful.

Perhaps the best university in China to check out western architecture, Haiyang is blessed with buildings that miraculously escaped decades of rebuilding crazes.
