Bomb Scare at Kindergarten, Hoax by Neglected Pregnant Woman
Apr 09, 2014 By eChinacities.com

On the morning of April 4 a woman called the police at Panyu district saying there were bombs in two kindergartens, but on investigation the police found no dangerous items. The police then turned their investigation to the caller and apprehended the offender, who turned out to be a 34 year old pregnant woman.

Afterwards the police discovered that it was a false alarm and the offender surnamed Ou confessed that it was a hoax. According to her account, despite being six months pregnant her family were still leaving all the housework to her and not paying her enough attention.

She made the call to the police unit where one of her family worked and made the claim in the hopes that her family would realize the error of their ways and subsequently pay her more attention.

We’re yet to find out if her approach was successful or not.
