In comparison with other cities in China, Chongqing has a relatively low consumption level. The price of houses in 5th ring of Beijing is RMB 8000, not to mention the exorbitant prices of houses in the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st rings. You can imagine the pressure to buy an apartment in large cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.
