Gender equality is guaranteed under the basic state policy of China. But for normal life, especially in terms of employment, there are some instances where women don’t enjoy equal rights, opportunities and responsibilities. To better understand the public’s evaluation of the status of women in China, the Huanqiu Public Opinion Survey Centre, working together with the Huanqiu Network, Sohu Women, Alice female network and other media, created the following survey:
