I notice how xenophobia is conspicuously absent as far as reasons. Unsurprising they don't want to admit how much China doesn't take kindly to certain types around here.

This isn't really any change over before... it seems the same as it was 10 years ago. This article is rubbish. Not everyone that comes to China is a scientist or an engineer. And who really wants to invest a bunch of money into a country with a government that never seems to get along with foreign companies or neighboring countries for that matter. Not to mention an abyssal education system... who would want to raise a family here? Most families comprised of a foreigner and a Chinese national ALWAYS move abroad when their children get old enough for elementary or middle school.

Propaganda article brainwashing the Chinese into believing that foreigners love coming to China and that China is better than the west. To compare China with Switzerland and Singapore is asinine. The fact is, foreigners are leaving China in droves because it's becoming increasingly impossible to do business here. They can offer all the coulored cards they want as it's not going to change anything.

so true, as much as I like living/working here I would definitly sacrifice my own well being and return home if I had a mixed race child, there's no way I would make a child of mine have to endure China
