According to the Zhuhai planning bureau, the well-known Lover's Road (Qinglu Lu) will be extended from 18km to 55km, northward to meet Zhongshan and westward to the intersection of Zhuhai Avenue and Modaomen. After completion, the road will encircle half of Zhuhai and become the No. 1 Road in South China with the most unique characteristics. The project will begin in 2009.
From the 90s till the present, Zhuhai's romantic Lover's Road (Qinglu Lu) has been famous with locals and tourists alike.
