Zhengzhou cabs charge 8 RMB for the first 2 km and then 1.5 RMB for each kilometer thereafter. For waiting, the charge is 1.5 RMB for 5 minutes. Other waiting times, such as traffic, are not counted in the final total. Trips exceeding 12 km have a charge of 2.25 RMB per km. Trips from 22:00-5:00 are charged a one-time nighttime surcharge of 2 RMB.
