Zhejiang Police Discover Over 3200 Tonnes Gutter Oil

Police in Zhejiang recently cracked a case involving the manufacturing and sale of gutter oil (a.k.a. swill oil).  On March 21st, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Chongqing and Shandong police joined forces to conduct a major crackdown of a large-scale gutter oil network operating in the Jinhua area of Zhejiang Province. During the operation, police managed to bust 13 gutter oil manufacturing dens and seized over 3,200 tonnes of the illegal oil.
