Yang Liping's "The Peacock" will be performed at the Zhengzhou’s Henan Art Center on December 2. Yang Liping is China's most famous choreographer and dancer, who at the age of 54 is hailed for being a creative and independent force in Chinese dance. Her dance "Spirit of the Peacock" won the Chinese People's 20th Century Classic Creation Award, and she has performed her sensational shows to rave reviews all over the world.
