Yang Liping's "The Peacock" will be performed at the Tianjin Great Hall on October 18-20. Yang Liping is China's most famous choreographer and dancer, who, at the age of 54, is still hailed as a creative and independent force in Chinese dance. Her dance "Spirit of the Peacock" won the Chinese People's 20th Century Classic Creation Award, and she has performed her sensational shows to rave reviews all over the world.
