Yang Liping's "The Peacock" will be performed at the Suzhou Cultural Art Center (苏州文化艺术中心) from October 5-7. Yang Liping is China's most famous choreographer and dancer, who, at the age of 54, is hailed for being a creative and independent force in Chinese dance. Her dance "Spirit of the Peacock" won the Chinese People's 20th Century Classic Creation Award, and she has brought her sensational dance shows all over the world.
