From November, most scenic spots in Xinjiang did not close, but have been offering reduced tickets and other incentives. It is understood that the Tianshan Heavenly Lake Scenic Spot has implemented preferential policies for winter tourism, from November 1, 2010 until March 31, 2011; ticket prices originally 100 RMB per person are now discounted to the 40 RMB. Well-known scenic spot in northern Xinjiang Kanas scenic area from November 1st to April next year, tickets will be free to all visitors. The Turpan area from October 21st to April 20th next year, non-cultural heritage sites will be 50% off.
