Xi’an Subway Line 3 Breaks New Ground

Xi’an Subway Line 3 broke new ground recently and is projected to be completed at the end of 2015. It begins from Cepo Village (Xi’an Railway Passenger South Station) in the south and ends with International Port District in the north, and it runs via 31 stations with a total length of 50.5 kilometres. Subway Line 3 will connect many large passenger-flow distribution centers and densely populated areas, such as Xiaozhai financial district, Wild Goose Pagoda, Jinhua Road commercial area and Chanba ecological park, and will become a traffic artery of Xi’an from southwest to northeast.
