Xi Jinping Named in Time 100 Most Influential People

On April 16, Time released its 2015 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Chinese president Xi Jinping was included in the list for the sixth time. Former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd wrote the passage analyzing Xi's power and influence. Rudd wrote that Xi's success matters for both China and the world. He said that China will become the dominant economy in Asia will use that power as geopolitical influence to create a new global order.

Xi Jinping has been included in Time 100 three times since taking the office of president, and six times total since 2009.
