At the press conference held on August 25th, a spokesperson with Wuxi municipal government has announced that the city has successfully passed the China preliminaries in its bid for the title of “International Garden City” (type E city award). Wuxi will be competing in the finals on an international level, and will be focusing on concepts of quality of life, environmental protection and continued growth.
