The high speed railway between Wuhan and Guangzhou will be open to traffic in December, shortening the traveling time to three or four hours between the two cities. In preparation for the impact of the new railway on flights, Wuhan Tianhe Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport plan to promote special flights in December. Tickets for Wuhan – Guangzhou flights during Nov. 28th to Dec. 14th may reach as low as 260 RMB if booked in advanced. The lowest price for the flight in December is only 280 RMB.
