On July 25th, Wuchang University of Technology was in negotiation with Utah State University to establish the Wuhan-Utah State University in Wuhan. Once the project gets approval from both school boards, the dean of Utah State University will personally come to Wuchang University of Technology to sign the agreement. This is not a completely new concept in China; there are already three similar setups with other universities: Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Ningbo-Nottingham University and Shanghai-New York University.
