Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Rail to Slow Down and Reduce Ticket Price by 5%

Starting from July 1st, Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Rail will adjust its operating speed from 350 km per hour to 300 km per hour. Accordingly, the whole journey from Wuhan to Guangzhou will take around four hours rather than the current three hours and 16 minutes. The ticket price is said to decrease by 5%. It’s also been announced that trains running at 250 km per hour will be put into operation soon.
