World’s Highest National Park Opens in Tibet

Qomolangma National Park, the world's highest national park by elevation, is now open in Tibet's Xigaze Prefecture. The attraction includes 5 peaks higher than 8,000 meters (including Mt. Everest), 10 peaks rising between 7,000-8,000 meters, 2 ecological valleys, and a minority folk culture park. According to a CNN report, the park is the same size of the Czech Republic.

Getting there: take a bus to Xigaze Prefecture, then hire a car to the park
