World Cup 2014 Tour from Shanghai Now Available for 495,000 RMB
Apr 30, 2014 By eChinacities.com

The 2014 World Cup is fast approaching and Shanghai travel companies are cashing in by offering group tours to Brazil for prices that stretch to hundreds of thousands of RMB.

There are several reasons for such extortionate prices; Brazil isn’t a very common holiday destination for Shanghai residents and as such, there are no direct flights to the country from Shanghai, plus the visa process between the two countries is relatively complicated.

The two priciest tours currently on offer will set you back 495,000 RMB; this will get you into the quarter final, semi final and final matches, include a two week tour of Brazil and a trip to the rainforest, with five star accommodation and flights from Emirates.

So far, reports have shown that the people who have signed up thus far have been overwhelmingly male, middle aged business owners.
