A recent report into the lives of white collar workers in China has revealed that although they are in a position that many Chinese people aspire to, they are overall dissatisfied with their lives.
Zhaopin, one of China’s largest online job search portals, released the 2014 White Collar Satisfaction Index on December 29, and found that the workers surveyed only rated their satisfaction levels as 2.22 out of 5 for life satisfaction, and 2.41 for job satisfaction.
Moreover, the survey showed that 75 percent of white collar workers only have sex once a month, and the majority of white collar workers who participated don’t take vacations, play sports or read books.
Satisfaction levels were rated lowest when it came to annual leave however; only 2.1 out of 5. Around 40 percent of the participants didn’t take annual leave, whilst 22.5 percent had less than 5 days annual leave. Less than a quarter of those surveyed took ten days or more annual leave.

I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT 'WHITE COLLAR WORKERS' ARE JUST POOR IGNORANT SLAVES. Today I confirmed it. They don't know how to enjoy their lives. and they will never know because they don't read, they just work to buy and show up their material things. And their sad lives.

With all that time spent stuck on the phone playing games or chatting, it's less time to read books... I *never* seen anybody reading books in the bus, everybody's stuck on the phone. Play sport, all it takes to run is a pair of shoes and 30 minutes. You can't find 30 minutes in a whole week ?! I work on a Chinese contracts, on Chinese conditions, I can squeeze 30 minutes here and there. Commuting by bike (muscle bike, not ebike) helps for the sports too. So in the evening : no crappy TV shows. Read books, have sex, run. There, 3 of your problem solved, if you're not willing to fall for self-pity.
