West Lake to be Included in the 2011 UNESCO World Heritage List

According to Xinhua News, director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage Mr. Shan has announced in a press conference on April 10th that they've received confirmation from UNESCO World Heritage Center that Hangzhou West Lake's bid and application documents to be included in the 2011 World Heritage list have been accepted and have passed preliminary judgments.
