The American "Sound of Music" Choir will perform on August 4 at the Suzhou Arts and Culture Center. The members of the singing group are the great-grandchildren of Agathe von Trapp, who was featured as Lisele in the original 1965 blockbuster film, "The Sound of Music", and was a member of the original Trapp Family Singers. Sofia, Melanie, Amanda and Justin have toured the world performing songs from the movie "The Sound of Music", classic arias, folk songs and songs from the UK and US. They have sung in Europe, Canada, Africa, Australia (at the Sydney Opera House), New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines.
