Upgrades Made to Chengdu Train Services

It has been announced that as of the 20th of February Chengdu railway station will put tickets up for sale 15 days in advance of travel, as opposed to the old system where passengers could only get hold of train tickets 10 days in advance, furthermore apart from for the Lhasa and Urumqi lines, passengers can obtain up to 10 tickets at a time.

The Spring Festival is coming to a close and this year saw Chengdu station deal with over 80,000 travelers. The Chengdu Rail Company has promised to keep the temporary lines running to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and other major destinations up to as late as February 28th.
