UK Launches 2 Year Visa for Chinese Tourists

UK Launches 2 Year Visa for Chinese Tourists
Oct 21, 2015 By eChinacities.com

The British government announced the launch of a two year tourist visa for Chinese citizens today on their official website. The government hopes to attract more Chinese tourists to the United Kingdom with the visa.

In the past, Chinese visas were restricted to a six month tourist visa and had to pay a visa fee of 85 pounds. With the new policy, tourists will only have to pay the fee every two years.

The new visas will be available starting in January of this year. In the future, 10 year multiple entry visas may be introduced.

In addition, Chinese will be able to apply for the visas in 50 cities throughout China instead of the previous nine.
