When compared to taking a train from Hangzhou to Nanjing, many frequent travellers between these two cities have realised that riding on the "Hangzhou-Nanjing Express Bus" is a much better option.

More daily trips: The Hangzhou-Nanjing Express Bus has 32 buses departing daily – basically every 20 minutes another bus departs – so it’s much easier, than compared to riding the train, to find a bus that fits into your schedule.

Short trip length: The journey from Hangzhou to Nanjing only takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes, while the high-speed rail takes about 3 hours and 10 minutes.
