Traditional Chinese Culture & Art Festival Opens in Suzhou

The first Traditional Chinese Culture and Art Festival opened at Suzhou Industrial Park on November 7th. The event will last until the end of the month and a range of exciting activities will be on offer throughout the festival. These include: Kunqu Opera (local opera), Guqin (Chinese seven-stringed zither), the studies of Chinese culture, clay figurine making, traditional Taohuawu woodblock printing of lunar New Year pictures, palm fiber or thread knitting, paper cut, and Suzhou embroidery. The events will be free of charge and open to anyone.
