Tibet relevant government invested RMB 330 million to maintain the Potala Palace, Norbu Lingka and the Sakya Monastery which will be completed in the second half of 2009. At present, the Potala Palace and Norbu Lingka have been listed as world cultural heritage sites, however, the Sakya Monastery compared has been listed as one of the national key units to be protected.
