Tibetan Protestors Storm Chinese Consulate in Sydney, Tear Down Flag

A group of 50 “Tibetan students,” and “former political prisoners,” stormed the Chinese consulate in Sydney, Australia and tore down the Chinese flag. Eight were arrested by Australian police.

When the consulate opened its gate to let a truck out, protesters ran inside the building's courtyard.

Eight protesters were arrested for a number of offenses including trespassing. A 38 year old woman was charged with assault for attacking a consulate staff member.

not saying one is better than the other but you should read up on Tibet pre-China, is was basically still a fedual society and with the Lamas as the land owners and the rest of the population were peasants.

I would agree, but I'd need to see conclusive, non-biased sources. Either way, even if it was in feudalism, that doesn't justify invasion any more than conquistadors could claim that brutality of the Aztecs (human sacrifices, for one) justified Spanish colonies.
