Tianjin Transport - Train

Tianjin currently has several direct trains to Shanghai (5 hrs), Nanjing (4 hrs), Jinan, Fuzhou, Hefei, Yantai, Qingdao, Shijiazhuang, Harbin, Shenyang, and Changchun. The city has four railway stations with Tianjin Railway Station and Tianjin West Station being the major two.
Tianjin Station underwent construction starting in July 2007, and was officially reopened for public use in August of 2008. Tianjin Station is the intersecting point between the Beijing-Shanhaiguan, the Tianjin-Pukou and the Tianjin-Jixian rail lines.  All lines head towards Beijing, Shanhuaiguan, Jinan, Jixian, Bazhou, and 5 other directions.  Furthermore, there are many high speed trains available between Tianjin and Beijing.  It only takes 30 minutes to get to Beijing South Station.
