After 17 months of construction work, the Tianjin Tower, part of the Tianjin Huanqiu Financial Center and measuring a height of 336.9 meters, has recently sealed off the roof and completed the building’s main construction. The building stands as one the tallest skyscrapers in all of Tianjin at the moment. The building's sightseeing hall is accessible by elevator within 60 seconds and offers a bird's eye view of the city from atop 308 meters. There are also coin-operated telescopes and photographing equipment scattered around the hall, as well as restaurants and cafes. Once completed, the building will not only serve as an entertainment and sightseeing center but also as a fully functional business venue, hosting fairs and exhibitions for professionals. The office building will be fully completed in 2011 and will serve home to over 700 global corporations and enterprises and 10,000 office workers.
