Construction on the four-story Tianjin Polar Ocean World is underway. The layout of the framework has been finished, and roof installation and interior renovations are in progress. The newly completed Tianjin Polar Ocean World is expected to open to visitors before the October holiday. Once completed, the Tianjin Polar Ocean World will have one of the biggest undersea tunnels in China. The first national research facility for incubating and hatching young arctic animals will also be based at the venue. Nearly 2,000 different species of polar sea mammals will be exhibited at the Ocean World.
