On the evening of May 19th, Shenzhen’s airport district was struck by sudden thunderstorm weather, torrential rains and lightning. As a result, Shenzhen could not operate as normal, hence resulting in over 30 flight delays at the airports departure and arrival ports. Flights were delayed from around 1-4 hours.
