An intimate rendition of Eve Ensler’s famous play “The Vagina Monologues” will be performed at Waterside Bar in Guangzhou from August 16-18. The play – which will be performed in English-only – is made up of various monologues read by a female cast and each monologue deals with a different aspect of the female experience. The original play shot Ensler to fame and has since become one of the most debated and discussed theatre pieces of the 90s.
