The Liyuan Water-front Park in Nanning will be open to the public for free in August. The waterfront park lies in the sands among the south bank of Liusha peninsula and southern Binjiang Road of the Liyuan Garden and Yongjiang River. The greening space is about 220,000 sqm, accounting for 84.6% of the total park area.

As a newly built park, Liyuan Waterfront Park uses a king of special big-sized brick paving with sculpture of Lyrae, which demonstrates the characteristic of the Zhuang People. The wall on the right side of the park path is also very romantic and the two frog statues in front of the embossment are interesting as well. Frog is the totem of the Zhuang People’s ancestors, because frogs can forecast weather.

The park follows the distinctive Lyrae idea of Guanngxi people and designs the natural landscape according to the varied terrains, which is a good choice for people to have a walk in a refreshing environment.
