Reports from the Central Meteorological Observatory show that a surge of cold air will affect large parts of the country from east to west. Areas north of the Yangtze River will experience level 4-6 northern winds and temperatures will drop 4-8℃.
In some areas the temperature may drop 10℃. Shankou District in Xinjiang will experience level 8-10 winds and areas in northern China will experience a range of snowfall.
