Hate it or love it, Taiyuan’s first Starbucks location opened in the Maoye Department Store on Liuxiang Nan Lu on March 1. And apparently the locals love it, as the store apparently registered somewhere near 100,000 RMB worth of sales in the first day alone. Same as with the rest of the country, most of the items in the store will set you back about 30 RMB.
