Scientific studies by three professors from Nanjing University further confirms that Taihu Lake is the result of meteor impact. The rocks discovered in Taihu Lake remains obvious features of impact and sputtering, providing reliable evidence to prove that Taihu Lake is an impact crater.

Yes, I agree with the above opinion,from my spercific experience. I am live in Wuxi,China, near Taihu lake, from my study on Taihu Origin, I have seen more from that meteor impact.most likely it is a comet, and the comet impact destroyed Ancient Liangzhu Culture. then 1500 years no residents in Taihu Area. what is more, I fell the comet came down before present 4300 (Or 2300BC), it is a great time in human history, I have more observation,welcome anyone contact with me, for I have a big collection of whole series impact meteorites, I hope the history will be known by more and more people. my mail ym881188 at163.com
