Kite, a Swedish band famous for its electronic synthesizer sound, will perform in Nanjing at New Castle Bar (新古堡酒吧) on July 18. The band was founded in 2007 by Christian Berg and Nicklas Stenemo, both from Malmo, Sweden. Kite's sound was influenced by artists including Black Devil, Italo Disco, Kate Bush, The Cure, Yazoo, Suicide, Fancy, Erasure and more. In the past few years, Kite has released three singles from their EP. Their song "Jonny Boy,” topped the charts and their full debut EP will be released soon.
Getting there: Take subway Line 1 to Gulou (鼓楼) or take bus 15, 26, 30, 46, 47, 52 to Fuhougang (傅厚岗)
