Suzhou’s Taihu Wetland Park recently reduced its entrance price in a bid to encourage visitors to check out the winter arrival of migratory birds. As of January 17, visitors can now pay only 60 RMB (originally 90 RMB) to come watch the huge flocks of herons and egrets arrive and nest in the area. In preparation for the migration, the park recently introduced a special route to allow visitors to get an even closer look.
