Suzhou subway line 1 is approximately 26 km long, and stops at 24 different stops. It takes 43 minutes to travel the length of the line and has opened for public use in 2012. Specific stops along the line include Mudu, Jinfeng Lu, Fenhu Lu, Yushan Park, Suzhou Park, Tayuan Lu, Binhe Lu, Xihuan Lu, Tongjing Bei Lu Guangji Nan Lu, Yangyu Gang, Leqiao, Lindun Lu, Xianmen, Donghuan Lu, Zhongyang Park, Xinghai Square, Donfang Zhimen, Cultural Expo Center, Shidai Square, Xinghu Jie, Xingtang Jie and Zhongnan Jie.
Tickets are priced from 2-6 RMB, depending on distance. Customers using an IC card can enjoy a 5% discount on all trips. Additionally, Suzhou is planning to open three new subway lines (2, 4 and 8) by 2014 or 2015.
