The Suzhou Garden Cards, which grant access to all of the Suzhou Gardens and tourist attractions, went on sale on December 1st. Visitors can purchase them at various outlets and gardens across the city from 8:30-11:30 and from 12:00-16:30 every day. Cards are valid for one year, during which users are permitted 100 separate visits, and allowed admission to gardens such as Huqiushan Hill scenic spot, the Humble Administrator’s Garden, the Lingering Garden, the Lion Cave Grove (Shizilin Forest), the Pavilion of the Surging Waves (Cuanglang Pavilion), the Fisherman Garden and the Lotus Garden.

To purchase the card, Suzhou locals need to bring their ID card, while Chinese from outside the city also need to provide their Suzhou temporary residence permit. Foreigners applying for cards need to prove 2+ years of Suzhou residence in addition to having a remaining six months left on their current visas. Foreigners should also bring their passports, residence permits and their police registration forms. The card costs 120 RMB and another 40 RMB for the deposit.
