Over 100 paintings of supernatural phenomenon such as fairies and ghosts by the renowned Chongqing artist Yan Qiyuan went on display for the first time this week. Not only are these paintings special to Chongqing for protrying the history and culture of the Three Gorges region, but the artist, Yan, is 108 years old this year! Despite his incredible age, Yan is still able to practice calligraphy and enjoy painting.
