May 24, 2012 By eChinacities.com

From May 15 onwards, the starting taxi fare in Zhengzhou will rise from 6 to 8 RMB (includes first 2 kilometres). What’s more, all fares after 22:00 will rise to 10 RMB. From May 15-June 3, the Zhengzhou Traffic Administration Office will adjust the city’s taxi metres. In the meantime, passengers who take taxis with the old metres must pay according to what is shown on the taxi metre and taxi drivers are not permitted to charge passengers extra. Passengers who encounter price-related scams can call 0371 6718 9900 to lodge a complaint.
