Since January 11th, Wuhan residents have been able to start buying railway tickets for the MU (multiple unit) trains and express one-stop trains (up to 20 days before the planned travel date) during the Spring Festival travel period. Regular train tickets for travel during the Spring Festival will go on sale on January 21st , precisely at 8 in the morning. Officially, 2010 Spring Festival travel season starts on January 30th and ends on March 10th, a period of 40 days. Eight ticket machines providing English service will soon be available.
