The Spanish tenor Placido Domingo & Chinese singer Song Zuying Chengdu Concert will be held in Sichuan Gymnasium on Sep 22nd, and this concert will be the most perfect show mixing Chinese and Western cultures together in China. This concert will be carried out on an international level according to Domingo’s request and the total cost will be more than 10 million RMB. As a result, the cheapest grandstand ticket is 880 RMB and the infield seats are not available to the public but only for VIP.
Domingo’s schedule this year has already been packed since he planned to have more than 40 concerts as well as more than 50 opera shows all over the world. Therefore, he had only 10 days’ holiday or maybe shorter. However, after he knew the significance of this concert in Sichuan Province after the earthquake, Domingo was finally moved. Instead of the 10 days’ vacation in September, the tour will lead him to Chengdu, his final decision.
