The Beijing Meteorological Bureau has continued to post yellow weather warnings regarding the “fog” that has swept over the capital during the past few days. In most parts of the city, visibility will be reduced to 3,000 m, with the eastern part of the city center to experience visibility of just 500 m. Given the dangerous levels of air pollution, residents are advised to stay indoors as much as possible.
