Shenyang to Host First Dutch Tulip Festival

The first ever Dutch tulip festival is running from Jan 22nd to May 20th 2009 in the Qifang garden of Shenyang's Nanhu Park. The festival will see the ‘Tulip Ambassador’ Competition that will see the winner sent on an all expenses paid for trip to the land of the tulip – Holland. Running alongside this will also be the ‘Tulip Cup’ a competition for children that will judge the best tulip drawing, photograph and essay.
