Shenyang Earthquake Mitigation Popular Science Hall (沈阳市防震减灾科普馆) was opened to the public on May 16th. It is the largest earthquake experience hall in Northeast China, in which visitors are able to experience the various kinds of situations that happen before and after an earthquake. The science hall at Shenyang Science Palace features an area of 1300 square meters and five escape scenes, such as ‘school’, ‘home’ and ‘outside’, for visitors to experience. It is the first hall of this kind in China.
