Shenyang will be building a ‘Cartoon City’. The town will occupy an area covering 1500 acres. After the town is constructed, the park will be the first China owned cartoon themed amusement park with proprietary intellectual property rights. Located in the tourist district of Qipanshan in Shenyang, the “Shenyang China Cartoon City” already held its Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony in April of this year.
